Many strong individuals have a dream, something that drives them every day. For Michelle Alvarado, her dream has always been to enrich peoples’ lives. However, it wasn’t until her time at USC Cinema School that she fully realized she could do this by creating engaging and entertaining videos that made a real impact. She’s been living her dream ever since with an impressive 15+ year career that includes commercials, feature films and television specials, as well as working as a research assistant for National Geographic Films, a production associate with Monterey Bay Aquarium, and as a film instructor at Bend High School.

Currently, Michelle owns and operates Wahoo Films, an internationally-recognized production company that produces powerfully compelling “docu-mericals” – highly targeted films that connect companies directly with their customers in an extremely personal way. As a result, Wahoo is redefining the way today’s businesses think about web marketing, advertising and promotions. Michelle strongly believes that any organization that is not using online video as a way to create customer loyalty, generate new clients and expand their market is missing a huge opportunity to reach their consumers where they live – on the web – in one of the most affordable, scalable and effective ways.
