Add “Call-to-Action” Button To Facebook In 5 Easy Steps!
If you have a Facebook page, then you should consider adding the ‘call-to-action’ button so your fans can take action after browsing your content.
Make sure to have compelling content to inspire your audience. Some call-to-action buttons include ‘Call Now’, ‘Sign Up’, ‘Shop Now’, and ‘Donate Now’. Step 1: Log into Facebook and go to your Facebook Page where you’d like to add the button.
Step 2: Click on ‘Edit call-to-action’ using the dropdown arrow located in the bottom right of your cover photo.
Step 3: Select your desired ‘call-to-action’ button.
Step 4: Insert the link to the appropriate page from your website (donate webpage for ‘Donate Now’ button, contact page for the ‘Contact Us’ button, etc.)
Step 5: Click ‘Save Changes’ and you’re ready to engage your Facebook audience!
Keep in mind just because you have the call-to-action button on your Facebook page doesn’t mean you’ll start getting a flood of donations, messages, etc. A well-designed, mobile friendly website is a key factor in converting visitors to loyal fans. Activating a ‘Donate Now’ Button: As of now, you can only use the ‘Donate Now’ button on your Facebook page if your category is set to “Non-Profit Organization”. If you are a Non-Profit Organization and you haven’t updated your category yet, simply go to your Facebook page, click on the ‘About Section’, click on ‘Page Info’, and edit the category by selecting ‘Companies & Organizations’ with the subsection ‘Non-Profit Organizations’.
