800 Mile Trail
Oregon Natural Desert Association works to ensure that vast swaths of our lands remain wild, open spaces that will be there for future generations to enjoy. We produced a documentary with ONDA chronicling Sage’s journey as the first person to hike and bike the 800-mile Oregon Desert Trail. Through the adventures on her trek, the film highlights the important areas in need of protection, including the Steens Mountains, Hart Mountain, and the Owyhee Canyonlands. This short documentary was selected out of 400 films and made it into the Wild and Scenic Film Festival. It toured around 100 cities through the United States. At ONDA’s film screening, they exceeded their goal of membership sign-ups and the non-profit organization continues to grow with community support. We more than enjoyed working with Wahoo Films. It was fun! WF is professional and creative. With their help, we were able to meet our goals! We will certainly use them again for future projects.
