Jared: Hero, Dreamer, Movie Star

When Habitat for Humanity introduced us to 11 year old Jared, we knew he was going to be the star of the Habitat video.

Jared calls himself a dreamer. He loves to invent, tinker and imagine all possibilities. He also prides himself in making his dreams come true - like the fort he is building that looks like a miniature house.

When his mom became a home owner thanks to Bend Area Habitat, a non-profit that builds and provides affordable home (one without interest payments), Jared realized that dreams can come true. What next’s for Jared - he says he wants to invent the first flying car. Jared’s video is in post-production, coming out this winter.
